In accordance with the resolution of the Hostel Monitoring Committee meeting dated 29.08.2025, the first phase of hostel admission for P.G. 1st Semester students (Session 2025–26) shall be carried out as per the tentative schedule given below:

Interested students are advised to keep their Family Income Certificate for the financial year 2024–25 ready, as it is mandatory for hostel application. The Family Income Certificate must be issued by an SDO, BDO, or a Gazetted Government Officer not below the rank of Joint BDO. An Income Tax Return (ITR) will also be accepted as valid proof of family income. Certificates issued by Panchayat Pradhans or Municipality Chairmen will not be accepted. A general Income Certificate template has been attached below for use where a prescribed proforma is not available.
Hostel admission will be granted strictly on the basis of the merit list prepared as per the University's selection criteria; meeting the eligibility conditions alone does not ensure admission.
It is hereby clarified that the above admission process pertains to a certain percentage of hostel seats only. The hostel admission portal will be reopened in due course for subsequent rounds of P.G. 1st Semester admissions, including for those candidates who did not secure hostel accommodation in the first round.
