Semester-I for the Academic Session 2025-2026

As directed, all provisionally admitted students till 14/09/2025 for the session 2025-2026 to the Post Graduate (PG) Programmes Semester-I under the Faculty Council for PG Studies in Science and Faculty Council for PG Studies in Arts, Commerce & Law, University of North Bengal, are hereby instructed to present themselves from 15/09/2025 to 24/09/2025 for physical verification of documents, failing which their provisional admission shall be liable to cancel and no further request shall be entertained.

TENTATIVE SCHEDULE FOR VERIFICATION OF TESTIMONIALS OF THE PROVISIONALLY ADMITTED STUDENTS OF P.G. 1st SEMESTER FOR THE SESSION 2025-2026.

VENUE: Office of the Secretary, Faculty Council for P.G. Studies in Science, NBU [for Raja Rammohunpur Campus]

All the provisionally admitted students have to be present in the verification of testimonials as per the schedule given below, otherwise their admission will be treated as cancelled. At the time of verificationof testimonials students have to bring all original testimonials, self-attested photocopies of all documents, printed copy of online appliction form, payment slip and two undertaking(s) toward curbing the menace of ragging [one signed by the candidate & another signed by the Parent/Guardian], AAY Card, social category reservation related Certificates of SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B issued as per latest Govt. Norms by the Competent Authority, Family Income Certificte issued by the Compentent Authority etc.

TIME: 11:00 A.M. to 02:00 P.M. & 02:30 P.M. to 04:00 P.M.

All the provisionally admitted students have to be present in the physical verification of testimonials as per the schedule given below, otherwise their admission will be treated as cancelled. At the time of physical verification of testimonials, students have to bring all original testimonials, self-attested photocopies of all documents viz. printed application form, payment slip, Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Family Income Certificate, SC / ST / OBC Certificate (Non-creamy layer certificate obtained from appropriate authority), AAY Card, PwD certificate & EWS certificate wherever applicable, and two undertaking(s) towards curbing the menace of ragging [one signed by the candidate & another signed by the Parent/Guardian] provided in the prospectus.

List of documents required for verification

The candidate will have to bring / submit ONE SET photocopies of the following documents (selfattested) along with its original copy at the time of verification of documents (after taking Online Admission):

Print-out copy of the application form and Money Receipt payment details.
Age Certificate (Admit Card of Secondary/Madhyamik Examination).
1 copy of recent coloured passport-size photograph.
Caste Certificate and Domicile certificate (wherever necessary) issued by the appropriate authority under Govt. of West Bengal.
Marksheet of Secondary/Madhyamik Examination.
Marksheet of Higher Secondary (10+2) or Equivalent Examination.
Marksheet of the B.A./ B.Sc./B. Com./BBA/BCA with Honours/Major under 10+2+3 mode of study or equivalent.
Registration Certificate of Graduation / Migration Certificate.
Authentic NSS / NCC-C / PWD / Sports Certificate (if applicable) for the Honours Graduate in 2025 of the University of North Bengal issued by the University/State/National Level, should be submitted.
RATION CARD (in candidate’s name) from competent authority for AAY candidates for West Bengal only.
AADHAAR card and PAN card in the name of the Candidate.
EWS Certificate as per notification uploaded in the admission portal.
OBC-A or OBC-B category certificate with issuing date as per latest Govt. Norms/Order/Guidelines, issued time to time by the BCW Deptt, Govt. of West Bengal, that clearly indicates (i) the category (A or B) they belong to; (ii) that they do not belong to creamy layer of the society [i.e. Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) certificate].
Filled-up Undertaking(s) of Anti-Ragging by both student and the Parent/Guardian (as given in the Prospectus).
Filled in Library Membership Registration form (Hard copy) following the guidelines.
