Notice for UG/PG Admission for Academic Year 2025-26

Online Registrations are invited from the eligible candidates for admission to the following UG/PG courses B.Sc (Blended) Physics, Chemistry, B.P.Ed., B.Voc., M.A., M.Sc., M.Com., M.C.A, M.Ed., M.P.Ed., M.Lib.Info.Science and PG Diploma courses offered in the University Departments, Bharathiar University, Coimbatore for the academic year 2025-26.

The details with regard to Fee, Scholarships, duration of the course hostel facilities, etc. are available in the University Website https://b-u.ac.in Candidates desirous of obtaining admission to the UG/PG/PG diploma courses offered in the University Departments are requested to apply online through the admission portal using the link https://fms.b-u.ac.in/admission from 09.05.2025 to 31.05.2025 and carefully read the rules of eligibility and other instructions given in the Prospectus. Candidates appearing for the final year/semester examinations of the UG degree can also apply. Candidates who are eligible and willing to apply for admission to more than one PG degree programmes, PG Diploma courses and UG courses shall submit a separate application for each and every course through online mode. The candidates have to pay the Registration Fee of Rs.400/- for each program through Online. SC/ST candidates have to pay only Rs.200/- (provided they produce a photo copy of his / her community certificate). The Online application submitted has to be downloaded from the admission portal. The application should be enclosed with scanned copies of the certificates such as S.S.L.C, H.S.C, UG Statement of marks, Community Certificate, Provisional Certificate and Degree Certificate if any and should be sent to “Concerned Heads of the Departments, Bharathiar University, Coimbatore-641 046” on or before 31.05.2025

The above procedures does not apply for M.B.A degree courses offered in the University department, since admission to M.B.A degree is done by single window system through DOTE at Government College of Technology, Coimbatore and for all courses offered by the School of Distance Education.
