Notification regarding Spot Admission for PGD Programme in Semiconductor - Theory & Application session 2025-2026

With reference to the subject cited above, this is for information of all concerned that the Spot Admission against the unfilled reserved category seats for Post Graduate Diploma Programme in Semiconductor: Theory & Application for the academic session 2025-2026 is scheduled to be held as mentioned below.

(i) OBC: 03 seats
(ii) ST(P): 01 seat
(iii) ST(H): 01 seat
(iv) SC:01 seat

Date of Spot Admission: 11th August (Monday), 2025
Reporting Time: 10:00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m
Venue: Department of Physics.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates seeking admission to the One Year Multidisciplinary Post Graduate Diploma in Semiconductor: Theory & Application should possess either of the following requisite qualifications:
Passed the B.E. / B. Tech. in the Electronics & Communication, Electrical, Instrumentation and Mechanical.
Passed B.Sc. with Electronic / Physics as one subject with minimum 60% marks or CGPA of 6.5/10 (Where conversion formula is not available) from an Institute or University recognized by AICTE / UGC.
Admissions will start only after the 12th results are declared by the Government of Tamil Nadu.
Eligibility criterion for reserved candidates will be as per Govt. notification issued, time to time.
