A few seats are available for admission in the following programs of studies. Interested candidates satisfying the minimum eligibility criteria as prescribed below may report for Special Spot Admission Drive on 14th August, 2025 in the respective Department/ Center at 9.30 A.M. (Depending on the actual situation/ withdrawal status, the vacancy of all categories including unreserved may change in the program mentioned).

Candidates will be required to bring the original mark sheets, certificates of all examinations, valid social category certificate (EWS/OBC-NCL/SC/ST whichever is applicable) issued by the competent authority and character certificate from the institution last attended. The candidates are also required to bring self-attested copies of all the documents. Selected candidates will be admitted on the same day and they will have to attend the classes from 18^th August, 2025. Candidates are to send their qualification details etc. to the concerned Head of the Department/Centre through email before 14^th August, 2025.

2. Date for online registration and spot admission: 14^th August, 2025

Selection criteria:

1. For M. Tech programs, GATE score will be the 1^st preference.
2. For all the programs, candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria who appeared in TUEE 2025 and CUET-PG 2025/CUET-UG-2025 in relevant subject will be the 1^st preference.
3. Non-GATE/Non-TUEE 2025/Non-CUET PG2025/Non-CUET(UG)-2025 candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria and appear the prescribed test/PI to be conducted by the department/center.

NB:

1. For filling up the EWS and OBC-NCL category seats, preference will be given to the respective category. However, if applications of EWS and OBC-NCL are not available, the university reserves the right to fill up the seats from the General Category and OBC category, respectively, from existing waiting list or through Test.
2. Filling up of SC and ST seat(s) will be done by the respective category only. However, if candidate(s) from the concerned category is not available, the university reserves the right to admit equal number of student(s) from the existing waiting list or through Test against such vacant seat(s) on supernumerary basis to maintain the required students-teacher ratio on the basis of merit.
3. Candidates who have not applied for admission to Tezpur University may also appear for spot admission. Such candidates will have to fill up online application platform on the spot by paying necessary fees.
4. Candidates who have already applied for admission to Tezpur University through (CUET or TUEE) in any program, may also appear for spot admission in any relevant program subject to fulfilling of eligibility criteria.
