Admission to M.Sc. Biotechnology (after GAT-B) for the academic session 2025-2026

All students wishing to take admission in the DBT (GoI)-sponsored two-year M.Sc. Biotechnology course in the Department of Biotechnology, Visva-Bharati for the academic session 2025-2026 must qualify the all-India GAT-B entrance examination (2025) conducted by NTA.

Online application process for admission to M.Sc. Biotechnology, Visva-Bharati will commence from 25th June (Wednesday), 2025. The important dates are given below:

The Prospectus-2025 can be downloaded from the Visva-Bharati admission portal https://www.vbadmission.in.

It is to be noted that the entire process of admission will be guided by the Prospectus-2025 and based upon the notifications published time to time by the University in the admission portal. Candidates must read the guidelines carefully in the Prospectus-2025 before submission of online application through Samarth.

Candidates may kindly note that correction in the Academic part (including replacement of the uploaded documents) can be made through the correction window and not the Profile part.

If any error is made in the Profile part during registration, the applicant may submit a fresh application. In such cases, the latest application will be considered and no refund would be made for the previously submitted incorrect form.

Applicants are requested to visit the admission portal regularly to keep updated regarding the admission for the session 2025-26.
