Notice for Recruitment of Technical Assistant and Technician-B 2025

ISRO’s Physical Research Laboratory (PRL) in Ahmedabad has announced recruitment for 20 positions comprising Technical Assistant and Technician-B posts under notification No. 02/2025. The recruitment drive invites applications online from October 4, 2025, to October 31, 2025. Ten vacancies each are available for Technical Assistants and Technician-Bs. Technical Assistant posts require a First Class Diploma in engineering (with specializations in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science/IT, or Electronics) from a recognized state board, and offer a monthly pay scale ranging from ₹44,900 up to ₹1,42,400 at Level 7. Technician-B posts demand matriculation along with ITI/NTC/NAC certification in relevant trades like Fitter, Turner, Machinist, Electrician, Electronics Mechanic, Plumber, and Mechanic Refrigeration & Air Conditioning; the pay scale for these roles is ₹21,700 up to ₹69,100 per month at Level 3. The selection process includes a written test and skill test, with central government reservation policies applied for all posts. Candidates must carefully check the eligibility conditions, such as age (18–35 years with relaxations for reserved categories), and upload all necessary documents including educational/technical certificates, valid ID proof, and category certificates.
