Admission to PG Courses for the academic session 2025-2026 (Phase-II)

In reference to the earlier Admission Notification (Academic Session 2025-26) vide Ref. No.: F194.V5/REG/1168-25, dated 07.08.2025, it is hereby notified for all concerned that the University Authority will re-open the admission portal for the vacant seats from 09/09/2025 to 14/09/2025 for fresh applications to the following courses: M.A. (Main Campus & Second Campus) / M.Sc. / M.Com. / LL.M. / BLIS / M.A. (Evening Self-Finance).

The Provisional Merit List (80% intake and 20% intake) of Phase-II will be published on 16/09/2025.

The Provisional Merit List of Phase II will include:

• Fresh applicants.
• xisting applicants of Phase-I who:
  (a) were not allotted any seat in Phase-I, and
  (b) did not take admission after seat allotment in Phase-I.
  (* Applicants who have applied earlier need not apply again)

N.B.:

• ABC ID, Caste Certificate with number of the candidates, is mandatory for filling-up the application form.
• SC/ST/OBC candidates of outside the state of West Bengal shall be treated as General category candidates.
• There will be no application fees for submitting the online application form.
• Please avoid waiting until the last day to submit your online application to prevent any last-minute rush.
• Applicants need to provide preferences of admission for courses in Main Campus, 2nd Campus, Khalishamari and Self-Financing Evening.
• Merit list will be published as per the preferences given by the applicants.
• Admission into different courses will be strictly based on merit and reservation criteria.
• Publication of names in the merit list does not necessarily assure the right of admission in the applied course.
• Honours graduates who have passed in the year 2023, 2024 & 2025 are eligible to apply for admission.
  [Except BLIS, LL.M (Corporate and Commercial Law) & LL.M (Human Rights and Duties Education)
  (However, preference will be given to the candidates of the latest academic session for LL.M Course)]
• In case of any discrepancy found during and/or after the verification, the candidature of the concerned candidate will be cancelled summarily and admission fees will be forfeited.
• IT HAS ALSO BEEN RESOLVED THAT WHERE STUDENTS ARE ADMITTED IN DAY & EVENING SHIFTS AND TOTAL ADMITTED STUDENTS NUMBER IS NOT REACHING THE MAXIMUM INTAKE IN DAY SHIFT BY THE CLOSING OF THE ADMISSION THEN SUCH COURSES RUNNING IN THE EVENING SHIFT WILL BE MERGED WITH DAY SHIFT.
• In case of BLIS course applicant have to submit a declaration that he or she is not pursuing in the same session any other course/s from any institution/s.
