Candidates fulfilling the following eligibility criteria may apply under the Sports Quota. They are requested to send their Application Form along with relevant sports documents, mentioning the Application Number, Group Number, and the Course Applied to the email: cuadmissionsportsquota@gmail.com within the last date of online submission.

Eligibility:

• Candidates must have represented a State or equivalent in any National/International Championship under a recognized Federation/Association by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports / Indian Olympic Association.
• Participation in Inter-University Competition conducted under the aegis of AIU is mandatory.
• For Football & Cricket: The applicant must have represented a First Division Club in the current year or in either of the two preceding years (organized by CAB or IFA).
• For Chess: Applicants must have a FIDE current standard rating of 1700 or above for boys and 1300 or above for girls.
• For Lawn Tennis: Applicants must have an AITA current ranking up to 500 in the Men's/Women's category.

Note: The rating/ranking for Chess & Tennis is applicable as of the date/week of publication of the admission advertisement under the Sports Quota.

Eligibility marks, cut-off marks, and relaxation of marks will be the same as those applicable for SC/ST/PWD categories.

Selected candidates may be considered for admission in a supernumerary additional seat, subject to approval by the competent authority.
