FYIMP Admission, 2025-26 (Spot Round of Admission) LIVE Online Counselling
Gauhati University will conduct a LIVE Online Counselling session on July 29, 2025, at 10:00 AM onwards through which all the seats remaining (including a few Endowment Seats) in various Five-Year Integrated Masters Programme (FYIMP) will be filled.
Please note that physical presence of the applicant at the GU campus is not required. Applicants must log in to the portal onlinegu.in to participate in the counselling and admission process.
Information regarding the available vacant seats can be found on Pages 2 & 3 of this notification.
Procedure for LIVE Online Counselling (Spot Round of Admission) & Admission:

Only applicants who have applied to Gauhati University through the SAMARTH PORTAL (with Samarth Registration and Form numbers) are eligible.

To participate in the LIVE Online Counselling session, applicants must register at onlinegu.in between 4:00 PM on July 26, 2025, and 4:00 PM on July 28, 2025.

Eligible applicants must log in to onlinegu.in from 10:00 AM onwards on 29 July, 2025.

Offers of seats will be made LIVE through the applicant's login through onlinegu.in

Applicants must ACCEPT the offer based on their choice and seat availability.

Upon acceptance, the Admission Fee must be paid within 30 minutes through the payment link provided on the same page. Failure to do so will result in cancellation of the allotted seat.

All admissions are provisional and subject to verification of valid documents.

Further instructions regarding document verification, reporting dates, etc., will be announced on the University website after the admission process.
Applicants are advised to check the University website regularly for updates and to ensure adherence to the timeline.
