As recommended by the concerned Heads of Departments, Gauhati University, the following FYIMP Girl Students have been selected for hostel accommodation. The names of the allotted hostels are provided in the table on the subsequent pages of this notification.

All selected students are hereby informed to accept the offer on or before 20 August 2025 by completing the following procedures:

1. Payment of Hostel Admission Fee

(on or before 20 August 2025):

• Single Seater Room – Rs. 4,430/- (Only for AT-3 Girl’s Hostel Boarders)
• More than One Seater Room (Double/Triple, etc.) – Rs. 3,590/-
• Payment Mode – Online payment through SBI Collect at: https://www.onlinesbi.sbi/sbicollect/

2. Instructions for Completion of Hostel Admission Procedures:

• Submission of Payment Receipt
  After successful payment of the Hostel Admission Fee, students must submit the payment receipt to Room No. 03, Office of the Secretary, University Classes, GU within the stipulated date to collect the Hostel Admission Form.
• Allotment of Room Number & Signatures
  Upon receiving the Hostel Admission Form, students must contact their concerned Warden/Deputy Warden to obtain the allotted room number and secure the Warden’s signature on the form. Thereafter, the form must also be signed by the Head of the Department (HoD).
• Final Submission & Allotment Slip:
  The completed Hostel Admission Form (containing the allotted room number, Warden’s/Deputy Warden’s signature, and HoD’s signature) must be submitted to Room No. 03, Office of the Secretary, University Classes, Gauhati University. Upon submission, students will be issued the Hostel Allotment Slip, which will complete the hostel admission process and the students will be informed of the date and time to move into their allotted hostel rooms.

Note: Failure to complete the above formalities within the prescribed date will result in the cancellation of the hostel allotment.
