In the interview/viva-voce, a candidate shall be required to discuss his/her research interest/area through a presentation [10 (ten) minutes] before the Ph.D. Research Committee of the Department. The interview/viva voce shall also consider the following aspects, viz. whether:
(a) the candidate possesses the competence for the proposed research;
(b) the research work can be suitably undertaken at the Department concerned;
(c) the proposed area of research can contribute to new/additional knowledge.

- Copy of Online Payment Receipt (downloaded from SBI Collect payment system after online payment at the time of application)
- Original Mark-sheets & Certificates of-Secondary, Higher Secondary, Graduation and/or Master Degree courses
- Valid Documents/Certificates of UGC-NET/CSIR-NET/GATE/GPAT/CEED/DST-INSPIRE/VISVESVARAYA or similar other National level tests (if applicable)
- Valid SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/PWD/EWS Certificate (if applicable) (Note: Original EWS / Original valid NCL certificate issued by the Appropriate Authority on or after 01.04.2025 in case the allotted seat is under the concerned reserved category)
Note: The candidate must bring any valid photo ID proof (i.e. EPIC, Driving License, Passport, PAN Card, Aadhaar)
