Notice for Admission through WBJEE Counselling 2025 to the 1st Year B.Tech. Programmes

Eligible candidates, who have been allotted seats through WBJEE Counselling 2025 at the University of Kalyani for admission to the first year of B.Tech. programmes in E.C.E., E.I.E., I.T., and C.S.E. are hereby instructed to follow the schedule below for document verification, reporting, and admission.

A. SCHEDULE FOR REPORTING:

B. To complete the document verification process the students must carry:

1. The following documents in original along with one photocopy of each document:
   • a) Provisional Allotment Letter & seat acceptance letter of WBJEE 2025
   • b) Admit Card of WBJEE 2025
   • c) Rank Card of WBJEE 2025
   • d) Class-Xth Admit Card / Birth Certificate for verification of Date of Birth
   • e) Mark sheet of Class-Xth Examination
   • f) Mark-sheet of Class-XIIth Examination
   • g) Valid Domicile Certificate in WBJEEB prescribed format for West Bengal domicile candidates
   • h) Valid SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B certificate issued by the Government of West Bengal, if applicable.
     OBC-A/OBC-B /EWS certificates must be issued on or after 01.04.2025. It must be mentioned that the candidate belongs to the non-Creamy layer and sub-category of OBC-A OBC-B or EWS.
   • i) TFW certificate as prescribed by WBJEEB for TFW candidates.
   • j) Duly filled in YES-upgradation form in WBJEEB prescribed format.

C. To complete the admission process the students must carry:

1. 2 passport size color photos
2. The following documents in original along with one photocopy of each document:
   1. Provisional Allotment Letter & seat acceptance letter of WBJEE 2025
   2. Admit Card of WBJEE 2025
   3. Rank Card of WBJEE 2025
   4. Class-Xth Admit Card / Birth Certificate for verification of Date of Birth
   5. Mark sheet of Class-Xth Examination
   6. Mark-sheet of Class-XIIth Examination
   7. Valid Domicile Certificate in WBJEEB prescribed format for West Bengal domicile candidates
   8. Valid SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B certificate issued by the Government of West Bengal, if applicable.

   9. TFW certificate as prescribed by WBJEEB for TFW candidates.
   10. Duly filled in YES-upgradation form in WBJEEB prescribed format.
   11. Duly filled in NO-upgradation form in WBJEEB prescribed format.
3. Two Affidavits related to anti ragging compliance (both student's copy and guardian's copy) – format attached in the Appendix I.
4. The Medical Certificate for General Health, Eye and Blood Group (Original) – format attached in the Appendix II.
5. Fee payable at the time of admission through online/digital mode – details mentioned in the Appendix III.

All the candidates must carry mobile phone with the SIM number registered during application to WBJEEB to receive OTP at the final stage of admission confirmation.

D. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

The candidate must fulfill all the below mentioned eligibility criteria:

• Candidate must hold a valid merit rank in the WBJEE-2025,
• Candidate must fulfill all the eligibility criteria and the terms and conditions as stipulated by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board, Govt. of West Bengal,
• Candidate must fulfill all the eligibility criteria mentioned in the Regulations for Different Programmes of the Faculty of Engineering Technology & Management, University of Kalyani under the section B For Bachelor’s Degree Programme.

D. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

1. All photocopies MUST be self-attested.
2. If no tuition fee is paid within the scheduled date(s), the candidature may be canceled automatically, without further information.
3. If at any stage of admission the information furnished by the candidate is found to be incomplete, false or incorrect, the University of Kalyani shall have full authority to cancel the admission without further notice.
4. University has limited Hostel seats. For admission to hostel the candidate has to submit physical copy of the duly filled in prescribed form to the DSW, KU. Mere application does not guarantee allotment of hostel seats.
