Important Information Regarding the Second Merit List for BLIS Admission

As per the directive, “Department of Library and Information Science” (Self-financed), Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga, in the Bachelor of Library and Information Science (BLIS) program for the academic session 2025–26, the second merit list for college-wise vacant seats has been released. Students selected in this list are informed that they must complete their admission at the institution between July 28, 2025, and August 2, 2025, by following the instructions given below.

The following documents/items are required at the time of admission:

• Admission fee of ₹26,000 (Twenty-six thousand rupees) must be paid in one installment (One time payment).
• All selected students must submit their original CLC/TC (College Leaving Certificate / Transfer Certificate).
• Students coming from other universities must submit their Migration Certificate.
• A photocopy of the Aadhaar Card and original Aadhaar card must be brought for verification.
• Students belonging to reserved categories must bring their original Caste Certificate.
• Students seeking admission under the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category must bring the latest EWS Certificate (2025–26).
• Admission will only be granted after document verification. Students who are not present during the admission process or whose information/documents are found incorrect, their admission will be automatically cancelled.
• The institution will not be responsible if any selected student fails to complete the admission process for any reason.
