Schedule of the Spot Counselling-cum-Admission for 1st Semester PG and B.Lib.I.Sc. Admission 2025-2026

As directed, this is to inform that to fill up the remaining vacant seats (both under 80% and 20% of the intake) for PG Admission 2025-2026, a Spot Counselling-cum-Admission shall be conducted from 13th, 14th and 17th November, 2025 as per the following schedule. The willing-waitlisted eligible candidates applied in the following programmes shall report with their Printed online Application form, Acknowledgment Receipt of the online willingness and the original marksheet of the qualifying examination to the Head/Director of the respective Department/centre at 11:00 A.M. and provisional admission shall commence from 12:00 Noon strictly as per merit and category of the attending students.

The Head of the Departments/Director of the Centre shall send the name of the selected candidates in prescribed format for provisional admission along with challans with proper Seal and Signature and a copy of the admitted students lists to the respective office of the Secretary of the Faculty councils.

All such selectcd canclidates shall deposit admission fees in the University Cash Counter in cash on the same date within 01:00 P.M.

Notes:
  • All Head/Director of the Departments/Centre are requested to take necessary action to conduct the Spot-Counselling-cum-Admission of the 1st Semester P.G. and B.Lib.I.Sc. Admission 2025–2026.
  • No Spot Counselling-cum-Admission will be conducted in the NBU Jalpaiguri Campus.
  • SPOT COUNSELLING-cum-ADMISSION shall be conducted in the subject/programme concerned if the vacancy and willing candidates exist.
  • NO CANDIDATE WHO EXERCISED ONLINE WILLINGNESS WILL BE ALLOWED AFTER 12 NOON ON THE STIPULATED DATE AT THE SPECIFIED VENUE.

Instruction to the Candidates:
Candidates who exercised online willingness are only eligible and requested to come/appear for the SPOT COUNSELLING-cum-ADMISSION strictly as per MERIT and as per Category-wise seat vacancy as on date.

The following measures have to be adopted by each student, during SPOT COUNSELLING-cum-ADMISSION:

  • Maintenance of COVID-19 PROTOCOL.
  • No attendant of the students shall be allowed inside the Venue. However, they can wait outside.
List of Documents Required:
  • Printed-out copy of the online-application form and Online Willingness Acknowledgement Receipt.
  • Original MARKSHEET of the QUALIFYING EXAMINATION along with self-attested photocopy of the marksheet.
  • Requisite Amount for Admission (Fees Structure is already uploaded in the P.G. Admission Portal).
  • Aspiring candidates will have to report to the Head/Director of the respective department/centre.
