UG Admission 2025 - PUBDET Allotment, Document Verification, Dates, Fees & Required Documents

Admission Notice for 4 Year (eight semesters) Bachelor Degree Courses 2025-2026

This is to notify all concerned that the Reporting and Document Verification for Admission to UG programmes for the session 2025-2026 will be held as per the schedule given below for the candidates allotted through PUBDET-2025 examination by West Bengal Joint Entrance Board. After successful verification of the documents, candidates are required to take admission through online admission portal. The candidates are required to pay Rs 4300/- (for BSc programme) and Rs 4000/- (for BA programme) (through online SBI Collection mode) as part of the admission fees in addition to the already paid seat allotment fee of Rs 1000/-, collected by WBJEEB. All admission will be provisional.

Decentralised counselling
Note that Decentralised counselling will be conducted by the Presidency University to fill up the vacant seats (if any) after 2^nd round of allotment by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board as per the following tentative schedule:

Start Date of Online Reporting	11^th September, 2025
End Date of Online Reporting	12^th September, 2025 (till 10 pm)
Date of Publication of Provisional Merit list for Counselling	13^th September, 2025
Date of Counselling (Physical)	BA Courses: 15^th September 2025 at 12 noon BSc Courses: 15^th September 2025 at 2 PM
Venue for Counselling	Derozio Hall, Presidency University (Near Mahammad Ali park gate)

The detailed notification will be published on 13^th September, 2025 (tentative)

Required Documents at the time of Document Verification

Students are required to carry following documents at the time of reporting for Document Verification as per given schedule in Sr no 3:

PUBDET-2025 Allotment letter issued by WBJEEB
PUBDET-2025 Rank card issued by WBJEEB
All academic documents in original with one set of photocopies
Category Certificate (if applicable) with one photocopy
PWD Certificate (if applicable) with one photocopy
EWS Certificate (if applicable) with one photocopy
Aadhar card with one photocopy

Required Documents on the First Day of Class

Students are required to carry following documents at the time of reporting on first day at the Department:

Admission Reporting Slip (with signature) generated from online admission portal
All academic documents with one set of photocopies
Category Certificate (if applicable) with one photocopy
PWD Certificate (if applicable) with one photocopy
Original Blood Group Certificate issued by approved testing Lab/ Hospital
Aadhar card with one photocopy
Income Certificate of Parents: The income certificate issued by BDO, SDO or any Group A Government officer or Income Certificate/ Payslip from the Employer or latest ITR
Following five affidavits in original on non-judicial stamp paper of value Rs 10/- or above (Notary is not essential):
- a) DECLARATION BY THE STUDENT AGAINST RACISM
- b) DECLARATION BY THE STUDENT ON SEXUAL HARASSMENT
- c) DECLARATION BY PARENT/GUARDIAN AGAINST SEXUAL HARASSMENT
- d) COPY OF ONLINE AFFIDAVIT BY THE STUDENT ON ANTI-RAGGING
- e) COPY OF ONLINE AFFIDAVIT BY PARENT/GUARDIAN ON ANTI-RAGGING
