Notice for University UG Registration and others for newly admitted students through WBCAP 2025-2026

Online form fill-up, document upload for University Registration and selection of IDC/AECC subjects for newly admitted students through WBCAP 2025-2026.

All students are requested to visit the college website / access the direct link (click here) and fill out the form & submit documents by 09/11/2025, 11:59 P.M.

Failing which may hinder the process of CU registration and other college formalities.

Process of form fill-up and document upload is explained below:

• Step 1: Open the College Website www.basantidevicollege.edu.in or click the link given above.
• Step 2: Log in to the portal using your registered email ID of WBCAP and your Date of Birth in DDMMYYYY format.
• Step 3: After login the dashboard will appear.
• Step 4: Upload documents (1st task)
  ONLY .JPG/.JPEG files are allowed to upload.
  - For Image and Signature uploading size must be between 50KB to 100KB.
  - For other documents uploading size must be between 100KB to 250KB.
• Step 5: Complete the profile (2nd Task)
  Fill up the form and click on update
• Step 6: Selection of AECC & IDC (3rd Task)
  Note: AECC for Sem 1 & Sem 2 will be English by default.
  The AECC selection here will reflect in Sem 3 & Sem 4.

You must choose three IDC subjects for three different semesters from the available list.
These IDC subjects cannot be the same as the subjects in your Major or Minor combination.
Example: If your subjects are Bengali (Major), History (Minor), and Education (Minor), then you cannot choose Bengali, History, or Education as IDC.
After selecting your IDC subjects, Save and Confirm.
Once you have completed all three steps, you may take a printout for your records. No hard-copy submission is required.
