It is notified for information of all concerned that in terms of the provisions of Section 54 of the Calcutta University Act, 1979, (as amended), and, in the exercise of her powers under 9(6) of the said Act, the Vice-Chancellor has, by an orded dated 16.04.2025 approved that the reserved candidates will be eligible to opt B.Com. course if they satisfy the condition of having "40% marks in the aggregate and 40% marks in the subject or related subjects at the previous qualifying examination", as per the regulation laid down in Notification No..CSR/06/2023 dated 23.06.2023.
The above shall take effect from the academic session 2025 - 2026.
