Online applications are invited from eligible intending candidates for admission into the Two-Year Master of Library and Information Science (M.Lib.I.Sc.) Programme of Dibrugarh University for the academic session 2025-2026.

At least a Bachelor's Degree of any UGC recognized University with a minimum of 45% marks in the general course. Candidates possessing higher academic qualification are also eligible for admission. Relaxation of 5% marks will be given to the reserved candidates as per Govt. regulation.

Application for Master of Library and Information Science Programme shall be through online mode only. No other means of application shall be accepted.

Online Registration for submission of Application Form will begin from 12/06/2025.
The last date for submission of application is 28/07/2025 (till 11:55 P.M.).

For submission of the Online Application Form, intending candidates are advised to follow the following instructions:

For Online Application, please login to Admission Portal on www.dibru.ac.in or www.erp.dibru.work.

The candidates needs to register on the portal by clicking the "Register" button and providing his/her name, mobile number and a password. The mobile number will be verified through an OTP. Please remember the password for login.

After successful registration, the candidate need to login using his/her mobile number and the password.

After login, the candidate need to click on the "Apply" button corresponding to the link of "Master of Library and Information Science (M.Lib.I.Sc.) Programmes" which will lead to an application form. The candidate needs to fill up the application form step by step.

After completion of the filling-up the form candidate needs to click the button "Submit and Review". A preview of filled-up form will be displayed. Candidates are advised to carefully cross-check the information and if anything need to be corrected at this stage, they can go back and edit.

After ensuring that all the information displayed on the "Preview" is correct, the candidate needs to click "Pay now & Submit the application" and pay the application fee of Rs. 950/- only through online mode (Debit Card/Credit Card/Internet Banking).

The application form will be considered finally submitted only when the application fee is successfully paid by the candidate and an online receipt is generated confirming the payment.

There will be a button tp download your Application Form for future reference.

The candidate shall have to take a print out of the Admit Card and bring the same to the Examination Hall on the date of the Test for Verification.

The submission of Online Application Forms shall be automatically closed for the last date.

Candidates seeking admission under the Non-Statutory Reservation Quota in the category of Sons and Daughters of the DU Emloyees/Retired Employees shall have to submit a print out of the submitted Online Application Form of the Master of Library and Information Science (M.Lib.I.Sc.) Programme 2025 along with the self-attested copies of all relebant testimonials and a Filled in Prescribed Form on or before 28/07/2025 at the Centre for Library and Information Science (CLISS), Dibrugarh University [please refer Caluse No. 2(IV)(a) of 'Reservation and relaxtation Policy for admission into PG, UG, Advanced PG Diploma, PG Diploma, Diploma and Certificate Programmes (revised upto February 2022)' available in the Dibrugarh University website].
Note: Certificate from competent authority must be submitted. Attach additional sheet if necessary.

There shall be no alternative procedure for Application for applying to the Master of Library and Information Science (M.Lib.I.SC.) Programme and the University shall not receive the Application except the procedure mentioned at (2) above.
Selection for admission will be based on the marks obtained in an Admission Test/Screening Test to be conducted by the centre for Library and Information Science Studies, Dibrugarh University.

Examination Centre:
Dibrugarh University (candidates are advised to visit the Dibrugarh University website frequently for the details).

The Entrance Test would be held for three (3) hours (with out any break).

Candidates must reach the venue at least 15 minutes before the commencement of the examination.

No candidates will be allowed to enter the examination hall after 30 minutes of the commencement of the examination.

Mobile Phones, Smart Watch, Calculators or any other electronic devices are strictly prohibited.

Candidates will be allowed to take only their admit card, a Photo ID proof in original and blue/black pen, water bottles inside the examination hall.
