It is for information of all concerned that fresh/renewal online application from the students belonging to
Scheduled Castes (SC) and Other Backward Classes (OBC) community of Assam through National Scholarship Portal (NSP)
are invited for the year 2025-26. The timelines for all Scholarship Schemes in respect of SC & OBC Students
through NSP Portal:

Eligibility Criteria Documents Required:
- Caste Certificate: Only SC and OBC community students are eligible to apply for the respective Scholarship (caste certificate only issued by office of the District Commissioner of their respective Districts)
- Parents/Guardians Annual income certificate: Income ceiling Scholarship will be granted to the SC and OBC Community Students Whose Parents/Guardians annual income from all sources does not exceed Rs. 2.5 lakhs per annum. The income certificate should be obtained only from the circle officer of respective Revenue circle.
- Bonafide Certificate: A Bonafide certificate is required to be obtained from the Head of the institutions is to be submitted.
For Applicants:

Students While applying for Scholarships for the above 5(five) Schemes are hereby required to register themselves in NSP through
“NSP OTR” app available in Google play store and perform Face-authentication for generating
One Time Registration (OTR) number which has been made mandatory for applying for Scholarship.

- Aadhaar and mobile no registered with Aadhaar are mandatory for generating OTR.

Applicants are advised to give only bank account details which remains in active mode so that disbursement of
scholarship does not fail as all the disbursement of scholarship will be made through DBT mode.
The authority shall not be responsible for any failure of transaction due to inactive or incorrect bank details.
Applicants must ensure that they have a bank account seeded with Aadhaar number.
