Notification for Common CUET/non-CUET/Spot-admission round for PG/UG/IG Programs, 2025-26

In view of a few available seats in PG/UG/IG programs offered by different Departments of Assam University, a common round of admission for filling up of the remaining seats through CUET/non-CUET/Spot-admission will be conducted, as mentioned below:

Important Information:

1. Interested applicants are to report to the respective Departments before the reporting time on the specific date mentioned above. Any candidate arriving late for any reason will be disqualified.
2. To be considered for Spot Admission, candidates should be physically present on the date and reporting time mentioned above. Candidates who have already applied (both CUET and non-CUET applicants) need not apply again and can directly appear for Spot Admission round. New applicants may also take part in Spot Admission round.
3. Both CUET applicants and non-CUET applicants, who had applied earlier along with fresh candidates are eligible to appear for Spot Admission subject to fulfilment of all applicable criteria. Already applied candidates will be preferred over the fresh applicants, and CUET-applicants will be prioritized over non-CUET applicants. However, the candidates who have been selected for admission in the earlier Merit list and did not take admission, may not be considered in Spot Admission.
4. SAMARTH portal will be opened for a short period for fresh applicants only during 6^th-8^th August, 2025 (till 10.00 am). Candidates who had already applied earlier and interested to participate in this round need not apply once again.
5. All non-CUET applicants are to appear in the Admission test (100 marks) conducted by the Department. Candidates having CUET score need not appear in the Written test.
