The merit point calculation is based on the directives of Department of Higher Education.

For admission in Honours course: Marks obtained in top four subjects (each 100 marks) excluding compulsory Environmental Studies Plus marks in the subject a candidate applying for Honours in H.S. or equivalent (10+2) examination shall be considered to ascertain the merit point of a candidate. For General course: Marks obtained in top Four subjects (each 100 marks) excluding compulsory Environmental studies in H.S. or equivalent (10+2) examination shall be considered to ascertain the merit point of a candidate.

Admission to all Honours Program Courses will be based strictly on merit.
