It is notified for information of all concerned that in terms of provisions of section 54 of the Calcutta University Act, 1979, (as ammended), and, in the excecise of her powers inder 9(6) of the said act, the Vice-Chancellor has, by an order dated 16.04.2025 approved that the Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe candidates will be eligible to opt 4-year B.Com. Honours course of studies if they satisfy the condition of having "40% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in the subject or related subject at the previous qualifying examination" as per the regulation laid down in Notification No..CSR/06/2023 dated 23.06.2023.
The above shall take effect from the academic session 2025 - 2026.
