Decentralized Counselling for filling up the vacant seats of UG Engineering/Architecture/Pharmacy Courses for the session 2025-26

The Vacant Seats in the 1st Year U.G. Degree programmes in Engineering / Architecture / Pharmacy for the session 2025-2026 will be filled up through Decentralised Counselling to be conducted by the Faculty of Engineering & Technology, Jadavpur University (FET-JU) through in-person physical mode at the university main campus.

  • On-line Application Form fill-up: 26th September, 2025 (11:00 A.M.) to 8th October, 2025 (04:00 P.M.).
  • Tentative schedule of in-person physical admission-enrollment: 13th - 15th October, 2025.

  • The application for decentralised counselling is a two-step process:

Eligibility
General:
The candidates MUST have obtained a valid General Merit Rank (GMR) of WBJEE 2025 and must pass Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination in the science stream in regular class mode of West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or equivalent examination from a recognised Council / Board (as per WBJEEB approved list).
The students already admitted to the UG Degree Programme under FET, JU, or any other institute and either continuing or have withdrawn from the same, may also apply.

For Engineering / Pharmacy Courses:
  • General category candidates having a valid WBJEE-2025 GMR between 1 and 10,000, and
  • SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/EWS/PwD candidates having any valid WBJEE-2025 GMR may apply subject to fulfilling the following in the 10+2 examination-
    • Obtained individual pass mark1 in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
    • Obtained a minimum of 60% marks in the above subjects taken together (45% for SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B,PwD candidates)
    • Obtained a minimum of 60% marks in Mathematics (45% for SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, PwD candidates)
    • Obtained the pass marks in English with a minimum mark of 30% (for all categories of candidates)
For Architecture courses:
  • Candidates having a valid WBJEE-2025 GMR and
  • having a valid and qualified score in the
    • NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture), conducted by the Council of Architecture (COA), New Delhi or
    • JEE Mains (Paper 2) Examination,
    may apply, subject to obtaining
    • A minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and
    • 50% marks in aggregate (37% for SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, PwD candidates) In the (10+2) Examination.
1 Pass marks in any subject shall imply pass marks in theory and practical individually as applicable and as specified by the concerned Council/Board
