Eligibility Criteria

Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Arts, Science, Commerce and Engineering with not less than 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST candidates) as aggregate from a recognized University are eligible to apply.

Candidates should have studied Mathematics either at the Higher Secondary or Undergraduate level. Candidates who do not have a background in Mathematics will be required to undergo a mandatory Bridge Course in Mathematics conducted by the Department.

Candidates with B.Sc. Data Science / Computer Science / BCA / B.E. / B.Tech. or B.Sc., Mathematics / Statistics / Physics / Electronics (should have studied Computer Science or Data Science as one of the Core / Elective course) with not less than 50% (45% for SC/ST candidates) marks as aggregate are eligible to apply.

Candidates who have passed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Applications or Information Technology or an equivalent degree in a related discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST candidates) are eligible to apply. Candidates who have completed B.E. or B.Tech. in any relevant discipline with a strong background in Mathematics and Computer Science are also eligible.
