PG Special Round of Admission Based on Academic Merit 2025

Applications are hereby invited from the candidates desirous of seeking admission under the special round of Admissions, based on ACADEMIC MERIT, for the VACANT SEATS in various PG/ PG Diploma Programmes of the University of Jammu, its Offsite Campuses and Affiliated Colleges, subject to fulfilment of the minimum eligibility, as per schedule & guidelines given below.

The Candidates who have appeared in CUET-PG-2025 and JUET-2025 can also apply. However their admission will be based on Academic Merit only.

4.	Group Discussion (GD) / Personal Interview (PI) for Admission to the various MBA Programmes of the University/ Affiliated Colleges	16/07/2025
5.	REPORTING TIME for the applicants for COUNSELLING & PHYSICAL VERIFICATION of the Eligibility/ Original Documents in the NODAL DEPARTMENTS at University of Jammu, Main Campus OR Concerned OFFSITE CAMPUSES (10:00 am to 01:30 pm)	17/07/2025
6.	ADMISSION in order of Merit for all the vacant seats under OPEN / RESERVED/ SELF-FINANCE Categories etc.	17/07/2025 02:30 pm onwards
7.	LAST DATE for payment of ADMISSION / Self-Finance Fee by the applicants accepted for admission by the Nodal Departments.	17/07/2025 to 18-07-2025

IMPORTANT GUIDELINES for Special Round of Admissions:

Admission under Special Round shall be based purely on the ACADEMIC MERIT of the qualifying examination.
MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY FOR PG ADMISSION: For the candidates (except SC/ST categories), the minimum eligibility for admission to the various PG Programmes of the University is 50% marks aggregate or equivalent grade in the qualifying examination as per the Program-Specific Eligibility. In case of SC/ST the minimum eligibility is 45% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade in the qualifying examination as per the Program-Specific Eligibility
CUET & JUET applicants, already registered and not admitted in any of the previous rounds, shall also be considered for this round, however they need to EDIT their Admission Form.
Candidates who failed to report for the Offline Physical Verification/ Counselling shall not be considered for Admission under this round.
Applicants in this round will not hold any right to claim the seats allocated to candidates, who had applied/admitted during the previous rounds of allocation/admission.
The LAST DATE for Admissions will be 17-07-2025. No further admissions to any PG Programmes shall be made thereafter for the Academic Session 2025-26.
ADMISSION FEE of the provisionally admitted applicants shall be accepted by the Departments / Nodal Departments through Electronic transfer only (NEFT/ UPI/ Net Banking etc). Nodal Departments may share Bank Details (Name of Bank/ A/c No/ IFSC Code etc) with the admitted applicants for taking admission fee. NO CASH PAYMENT SHALL BE ENTERTAINED.
All the applicants desirous for admission are advised to follow the above schedule to EDIT and report at the concerned Department / Nodal Department for Physical Verification / Counselling/ Admission to the various Programmes of the University of Jammu/ Offsite Campuses/ Affiliated Colleges.
The applicants have to bring Online Admission Form already filled by them along with the photocopies of all the documents and the Affidavits as required for admission. Admissions shall be made purely on the basis of Merit among the applicants who present themselves on the day of the counselling.
