UG Document Verification Notice 2025

In pursuance of Notification No. 617-Edn (CS)/10M-95/14 Dated 22/08/2025, it is hereby notified for information of all concerned that, the candidates who have taken admission to B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. Courses (4-year/3-year) in Hooghly Mohsin College for the academic session 2025-26 through the Centralized Admission Portal, are hereby directed to visit the Hooghly Mohsin College for physical verification of their original documents as per the following schedule:

Document Verification Requirements

Candidates must produce the following documents in original and submit one set of self-attested photocopies of all the original documents, during the physical verification of documents.

1. Printout of Application Form (from Centralized Admission Portal).
2. Provisional Admission Confirmation Certificate (from Centralized Admission Portal).
3. Downloaded receipt of Admission Fees paid online (from Centralized Admission Portal).
4. Recent passport size photographs – 2 copies.
5. Original Aadhaar Card.
6. Original Mark Sheet of Madhyamik or Equivalent Examination.
7. Original Mark Sheet of H.S. or Equivalent Examination.
8. Original Registration Certificate of H.S. or Equivalent Examination.
9. Original proof of Date of Birth – Admit Card / Certificate of Madhyamik / Equivalent Examination / Birth Certificate.
10. Original Caste Certificate issued by the competent authority of West Bengal (if applicable). Caste certificates from other states will not be accepted.
11. Original PwD certificate from a competent authority (if applicable).
12. Original EWS certificate from a competent authority (if applicable) pertaining to the current financial year only.
13. Copy of Migration Certificate, if applicable.

1. Without physical verification of documents, the candidature will stand cancelled.
2. Candidates must report in person on the above-mentioned dates and time to Hooghly Mohsin College. If a candidate fails to report in person due to medical condition/emergency, a person authorized by him/her should report on his/her behalf with all the relevant documents mentioned above. The said person should bring proper letter of authorization where his/her signature will be attested by the candidate.
3. Candidature will stand cancelled if any discrepancy is observed in the information provided at any stage of the admission process.
4. All admissions are PROVISIONAL until registration of the candidate is finalized by The University of Burdwan.
