Admission to the Ph.D. (Tech.) Program, Department of Radio Physics and Electronics, 2025

Applications are invited for admission to the Ph.D. (Tech.) program of the Department of Radio Physics and Electronics, University of Calcutta. A maximum of 36 (thirty six) Ph.D. students may be accommodated, if found suitable, with reservations as per West Bengal State Higher Educational Institutions (Reservation in Admission) Act 2013.

The candidates are advised to apply in the prescribed application form by paying Rs. 100/- through a Challan to the Cash Counter, University of Calcutta.
The filled-in forms along with copy of the Challan should be submitted at the Department office located at 92 A. P. C. Road, Kolkata - 700009.
The eligible candidates will have to appear in a written multiple choice question (MCQ) test of one hour duration.
An overall knowledge on fundamentals of Physics, Mathematics, Electronics and Communication is the prime requirement for the admission test.
Candidates who qualify in the written test will have to appear in an interview.
