List of Applicants Provisionally Shortlisted for Admission to Communicative and Functional English Certificate Course Offered by the School of Languages and Linguistics, Jadavpur University

1. The List given below is provisional and is subject to:
   1. The fulfilment of the eligibility criteria as notified earlier.
   2. The verification of the equivalence of marks / degrees from other universities to those of this university, wherever and whenever applicable.
   3. Correction in the merit position due to any error, if any.
   4. If at the time of counseling / admission and verification of marks, it is found by the university authority that a student has provided incorrect information in his / her online application form, his / her application and offer of provisional admission shall be liable to be cancelled.
   5. If a student has not completed his/her results at Higher Secondary/10+2 or equivalent level, his / her application shall be cancelled even if he/she is provisionally selected for admission.
2. For any candidate, an increase in marks due to post-publication review / scrutiny after the closing dates of application for admissions to the Evening courses for the academic session 2025-26, shall NOT be considered, and his / her merit position shall NOT be changed.
3. As per the order of Govt. of West Bengal [order no: 434-Edn(CS)/10M-95/14 dated 16/7/2020], all the original documents of applicants will be verified when they report for classes at University campus. Provisional admission of a candidate will stand cancelled if the documents are found not in conformity with the declaration in the forms submitted on-line.
4. SC/ST/OBC/PD quota as per State Govt. rules.
5. No separate intimation will be sent to the individual candidate.
6. If a candidate fails to submit the fees online on the specified date for admission, the next candidate in order of merit will be considered for admission.
7. Classes will be conducted twice a week in physical mode.
8. Request for fee wavering cannot be entertained under any circumstances.
