Notice for Admission through JELET Counselling 2025 for Lateral Entry in the 2nd Year (3rd Semester) of B.Tech. Course in Computer Science & Engineering

The eligible candidates allotted seats through the JELET counselling 2025, at the University of Kalyani for admission at the Part-II (3rd semester) of B.Tech. programme of C.S.E. are instructed to refer to the following schedule for document verification and admission.

To complete the document verification process the students must carry

The following documents in original along with one photocopy of each document:

Provisional Allotment Letter & seat acceptance letter of JELET 2025.
Admit Card of JELET 2025.
Rank Card of JELET 2025.
Class-Xth Admit Card/Birth Certificate for verification of Date of Birth.
Mark sheet of Class-Xth Examination.
Mark-sheet of Class-XIIth Examination (if applicable/available).
Mark sheets of all Diploma/B.Sc. semesters.
Valid Domicile Certificate in WBJEEB prescribed format for West Bengal domicile candidates.
Valid SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/EWS certificate issued by the Government of West Bengal/concerned authority, if applicable. Valid OBC candidates who have (NCL) certificates that were issued before to December 31, 2009, should have them revalidated by the issuing body, ensuring that they are in the OBC-A(NCL) or OBC-B(NCL) category. The appropriate authority must issue the NCL (Non-Creamy Layer) Certificate on or after April 1, 2025.
Duly filled in YES-upgradation form in WBJEEB prescribed format.

To complete the admission process the students must carry

2 passport size color photos.
The following documents in original along with one photocopy of each document:
- Provisional Allotment Letter & seat acceptance letter of JELET 2025.
- Admit Card of JELET 2025.
- Rank Card of JELET 2025.
- Class-Xth Admit Card / Birth Certificate for verification of Date of Birth.
- Mark sheet of Class-Xth Examination.
- Mark-sheet of Class-XIIth Examination (if applicable/available).
- Mark sheets of all Diploma/B.Sc. semesters.
- Valid Domicile Certificate in WBJEEB prescribed format for West Bengal domicile candidates.
- Valid SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/EWS certificate issued by the Government of West Bengal/concerned authority, if applicable. Valid OBC candidates who have (NCL) certificates that were issued before to December 31, 2009, should have them revalidated by the issuing body, ensuring that they are in the OBC-A(NCL) or OBC-B(NCL) category. The appropriate authority must issue the NCL (Non-Creamy Layer) Certificate on or after April 1, 2025.
Two Affidavits related to anti ragging compliance (both students copy and guardian's copy) – format attached in the Appendix-I (may be submitted after admission).
The Medical Certificate for General Health, Eye and Blood Group (Original) – format attached in the Appendix-II (may be submitted after admission).
Fee payable (Rs. 29,310/-)at the time of admission through online/digital mode – details mentioned in the Appendix-III.

All the candidates must carry mobile phone with the SIM number registered during application to WBJEEB to receive OTP at the final stage of admission confirmation.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must fulfill all the below mentioned eligibility criteria:

candidate must hold a valid merit rank in the JELET-2024,
candidate must fulfill all the eligibility criteria and the terms and conditions as stipulated by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board, Govt. of West Bengal,
candidate must fulfill all the eligibility criteria mentioned in the Regulations for Different Programmes of the Faculty of Engineering Technology & Management, University of Kalyani under the section B For Bachelor’s Degree Programme.

general Instructions

All photocopies MUST be self-attested.
If no tuition fee is paid within the scheduled date(s), the candidature may be canceled automatically, without further information.
If at any stage of admission the information furnished by the candidate is found to be incomplete, false or incorrect, the University of Kalyani shall have full authority to cancel the admission without further notice.
University has limited Hostel seats. For admission to hostel the candidate has to submit physical copy of the duly filled in prescribed form to the DSW, KU. Mere application does not guarantee allotment of hostel seats.
