Admission to M.Sc. Course in Chemistry, Microbiology & Zoology, 2017

• The candidates who have passed the B.Sc. (Hons) Examination in the year 2017, 2016 and 2015 only are allowed to apply for admission to M.Sc. Courses in Chemistry, Microbiology and Zoology for the Academic Session 2017-2018.
• The 60% seats in each of the above-mentioned three subjects are reserved for the candidates who are graduated in the year of 2017 from the West Bengal State University (WBSU), Barasat, WB.
• The rest of the seats (40%) will be available to the B.Sc. (Hons) graduates of other UGC recognized Universities, all back year Candidates passed in 2016 & 2017 and rest of Home University candidates [60%] not selected in 60% seats.
• The candidates of other Universities have to appear in a Written Admission Test organized separately by the three PG Departments mentioned above.
• The graduates of home University (WBSU) may also be considered for these seats (40%), provided they appear in the said written Admission Test.
• The 60% and 40% seats have separate reservation quota as per the Government norms for SC, ST and OBC candidates in each subject. The SC, ST and OBC candidates belonging to the state of West Bengal only will be eligible for this benefit and SC, ST and OBC candidates of other states of the country will be treated at par with the candidates belonging to General category.
• The 03% seats of each subject are reserved for the physically challenged candidates.
• The list of all eligible candidates for both WBSU (60%) and other University (40%) category will be available in College Website.
• The Provisional Merit List of WBSU category for 60% seats in each subject will also be published in the College Website.
• After the written Admission Test, the Provisional Merit List for 40% Category will be prepared and subsequently published in the Website.
• The PNC candidates of the WBSU, who are yet to clear any Paper of subsidiary subject in Part-II Examination but have cleared all the Papers of subsidiary subjects in Part-I Examination will be allowed to fill up Application Form for admission in M.Sc. Courses and will be admitted to M.Sc. Course provisionally. They will be required to clear all subsidiary Paper(s) within October 31, 2017 otherwise their admission in M.Sc. Course is liable to be cancelled.
• Mode of Payment: Application Fee Rs. 500/- for a single application. Candidates may use the payment facility by print the Application Challan and submit to the any Branch of Bank of Baroda on payment of the requisite amount of Application Fee.
