The medium / language of the Test will be English only.

General Proficiency Test (GPT) is administered to judge a candidate’s proficiency in the English language (comprehension, vocabulary and expression), Language Ability, Logical reasoning, Quantitative ability, Data Interpretation, basic Mathematics, etc.

Design Aptitude Test (DAT) examines candidates’ aptitude for creativity, drawing, design ability, power of observation and imagination, sensitivity to environment and communication skills.

Applicants have the option of opting for maximum 2 course choices. Applicants opting for a Design course in any of the choices will be required to appear for Design Aptitude Test (DAT).

A candidate is judged on various parameters by a panel as listed below:

• Ability to Analyze / Logical Reasoning
• Intellectual / Creative Ability
• Portfolio evaluation
• Material Handling Skills (for Design streams)

All candidates are required to undergo a Personal Interview after the Written Admission Test at their respective Entrance Examination Centre. Candidates appearing for the Written Test in Delhi / NCR, Noida, Jaipur, Mumbai and Chennai centres are required to appear for the Personal Interview at respective Pearl Academy Campuses only.

The Admit Cards will be available Online mentioning the date, time and venue of the Written Test and/or Personal Interview (as applicable) 4 days before the Written Test for each admission cycle on www.pearlacademy.com
The Academy may also send the Admit Cards via email on candidates registered email id.

An application fee of Rs 1100/- needs to be paid by the candidates for the registration procedure.
The Demand Draft should be in favour of "Creative Arts Education Society" payable at New Delhi.

Candidates are selected on Merit, based on their performance in the Written Admission Test and Personal Interview/Studio Test. The Programme and Campus will be awarded to successful candidates on the basis of their rank & preference.

Result is declared separately for each Admission cycle as per the cut off / grades and weightages for norms decided by Admission / Selection committee of the Academy.

A formal Admission Offer Letter will be sent to all the Successful candidates shortly after declaration of the result. Candidates will be required to pay the fees by stipulated date to secure their seats. In case a successful candidate does not pay the fees within the stipulated date, the seat will be offered to other deserving candidates.

In case a candidate is not selected or is not been offered his / her desired course or campus in Admission Cycle-1, it is open to the candidate to apply afresh for the next Admission Cycle.

The norms of the Selection are the sole prerogative of the Pearl Academy Admission / Selection Committee and the decision of the Admission / Selection Committee and the Management in matters concerning the admission process and selection will be final.
