Symbiosis Institute of Health Sciences (SIHS), Pune has invited applications for admission to Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme in Hospital and Healthcare Management for the session 2017-19.
Graduate of a Statutory University with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) at graduation level. Candidates passing degree examination by part-time / correspondence / external course / distance learning or in one sitting are not eligible. Note: Candidates appearing for Final year bachelor's degree examinations may apply but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST).
Symbiosis International University has from this year brought the complete admission process under one umbrella. The process has been completely revamped. A simplified streamlined process which is candidate friendly, convenient, advantageous and economical to a candidate has been brought in for the Academic Year 2017-2019. Symbiosis International University will conduct the complete process centrally under its aegis.

- Single registration process for all MBA programs at all institutes of SIU
- Personal Interaction and Writing Ability Test (PI-WAT) process for all MBA programs at respective institutes.
- SNAP Test Score + Academic Profile Score will form the basis for short listing candidates for Group Exercise, Personal
- Interaction and Writing Ability Test (PI-WAT)
- Academic Profile Score will be computed on the basis of weights assigned to academic performance in 10th Std., 12th Std. and Graduation
- Selection process comprises of Group Exercise (GE), Personal Interaction (PI) and Written Ability Test (WAT)

Students will be evaluated throughout the two years of the programme by periodic tests as well as assignments. Consideration will be given for the student's contribution to classroom discussions, written reports, reading and other assignments. The evaluation of the student's performance is done by means of continuous on-going internal evaluations as well as at the end of each semester external examination will be conducted by SIU.
The performance of students of the MBA (HHM) programme is evaluated on the Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) system. A minimum Grade Point (GP) of 1.6 in every course and a minimum CGPA of 2.00 at the end of the programme are mandatory for the student to be eligible for the award of the degree by SIU as a successful candidate. Theory & Practicals will be separate heads of passing. Internal and External Examinations are also separate heads of passing.
The SIU will award the Master of Business Administration in Hospital & Healthcare Management, MBA (HHM) at the end of the two year programme to all successful candidates. A detailed grade sheet and transcript will also be issued to each successful student.
