Admissions to B.A. / B.Sc. / Commerce Honours & General Courses for 2015-2016
General Information
Candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary or equivalent examinations (ISC / CBSE) in 2012 and onwards are eligible to seek admission to the 1st year B.A. / B.Sc. / B.Com. Hons. / General courses.
- Admission will be strictly on the basis of merit.

Application forms for admission to the 1st year B.A. / B.Sc. / B.Com. Hons. / General courses will be available online from 2nd June (10:00 A.M.), 2015 to 18th June, 2014(9:00 P.M.).

The online applicants are required to deposit application fees (Rs. 150/- only in cash) at the following branches through e-chalan generated by the system.

Application fees can be deposited from 2nd June, 2015 to 18th June, 2015. -
The merit list of all departments will be published on 22nd June, 2015 on the college notice board and in college websites.
(www.sammilanimahavidyalaya.org & www.sammilaniadmission.org). - Admission criteria for SC and ST candidates will be strictly maintained as per guideline of University of Calcutta. The students (SC/ST/PH) have to scored 40% marks in aggregate (best of four) or 40% marks in related subjects to take Honors Courses.
- The college follows the rules regarding reservation of SC and ST candidates as per the order and notifications issued by Govt. of West Bengal and University of Calcutta, ie. 22% for SC students and 6% for ST students OBC 17% (will be reached by 2020-2021 season) and 3% for PH in all category.
- The candidates are required to fill up application forms carefully. The college authority will not be responsible for any mistake or anomaly in this regard.
- Candidates who have passed from other boards (including distance education) will be considered later on according to the availability of seats.
- Admission to any course of the college is provisional and subject to approval of the University of Calcutta.
- A candidate must have secure pass marks in the subjects / allied subjects which he/she has applied for.
- The aggregate marks are to be calculated on the basis of best of four subjects excluding environmental studies.
