Important Notification for Admission


Merit Rank lists will be published on 25th June, 2015. From 26th June, 2015 onwards the students can download the application Form and Challan to pay the fees.

The Admission will start from 30th June, 2015. Students from distant places are also required to be present at the College venue at the time of verification of testimonials and payments.

Applicants are required to pay "admission-time fees" only at South Calcutta Girls' College Branch of HDFC Bank in the Current A/C # 50100103580290. Payment must be made by cash only and through Challan. Along with the Application Form the Challan is required to be downloaded after log in to the account created during application. No other mode of payment will be available at the time of admission.

One student, applied for several combinations available for the same Honors subject, will find her position once in the merit list. However, she will have to collect all the applications and Challans and at the time of verification, she can put her options chronologically and can get the chance of admission according to the combination available to her at that time.

Admission fees for each course will be printed on the downloaded Challan.

Admission dates mentioned in the merit lists will be strictly followed. No one student of prior list will be allowed to get admission, after the publication of the next list.

Students are requested to check the merit list regularly until the total seats are filled up.

Students are asked to come to the respective rooms of the College with original testimonials and one attested copy of each document within the date prescribed in the Merit Rank List. Room numbers will be notified in the College Notice Board. Students applied for General Course can take admission from 30th June 2015 onwards, irrespective of their position in the list, meant for the mentioned day.

"Payment verification due" does not always mean that the application fee is not paid. It will be verified from the student‟s copy of payment. At the time of verification if it is seen that the application fees are either not paid or not paid in time(within 22nd June 2015), the application form of the student will be cancelled.

Reporting time for verification of original documents : 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.

Banking Time : 10:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. on weekdays and 10:00 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. on Saturdays, Sunday closed.
