Govindammal Aditanar College for Women is a college situated in Tiruchendur, Thoothukudi district, Tamil Nadu, India. It is affiliated with Manonmaniam Sundaranar University. It teaches arts and science degrees for both undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, as well as certification courses and a research Ph.D. in Mathematics. The college was founded by Sivanthi Adithan in 1987 and is fully financed by the Aditanar Educational Trust, with no financial aid from the government. The college owes its origin solely on the philanthropy of Dr.B.Sivanthi Adityan, the illustrious son of a noble father Mr.Si.Pa.Aditanar.

The college is a self-financing institution and does not receive any financial aid from the Government. It is fully maintained by the munificence of Aditanar Educational Trust. No capitation fee or donation is accepted for admission or appointment.

The founder of the college, Dr.B.Sivanthi Adityan is the Director of Daily Thanthi, a leading newspaper in Tamil and is a great industrialist.
