Kousali Institute of Management Studies(KIMS) established in the year 1976 as Department of Management studies of Karnatak University at Dharwad.The institute had been named so in recognition of the contribution of Dr. Thammappa Kousali.
The institute has ceaselessly strived to produce Professionals with Erudition backed by high moral and ethical values.

KIMS offers Master of Business Administration (M.B.A) –2-year full-time course affiliated to Karnatak University. Course offers various specializations like Finance, Marketing and Human Resource . Intake for the MBA course is 60 students.
KIMS offers Ph.D also for students aspiring undertake research in their area of specialization/ interest. Intake is 16 students.
