Engineering Course : B.Tech Degree

Duration	:	Four Years
Eligibility	:	The candidate seeking admission to the 1st year B-Tech Degree Course in our College should have a minimum aggregate of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) at 10+2 level or equivalent exam.
Procedure	:	Admission can be taken through securing merit ranks in WBJEE – (West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination) & AIEEE (All India Engineering Entrance Examination).
Admission	:	After Allotment of Seats in counselling, candidates will do the further formalities for admission in the college campus. Admission Kit, Checklist & Fees structure will be provided to them in our college campus / city office.

Lateral Entry : B.Tech Degree

Admission through Lateral Entry to the 2nd year (3rd semester level) of the undergraduate degree courses.
Duration	:	Three Years
Eligibility	:	The candidate seeking admission to the 2nd year B-Tech Degree Course in our College should either pass diploma course in Engineering/Technology/Pharmacy from any AICTE recognised Polytechnic/Institute with at least overall 60% marks or have passed XII standard with Mathematics as a subject and Degree in Science (B.Sc.) from U.G.C. approved Universities with at least 60% marks.
Procedure	:	Admission can be taken by appearing and qualifying in the Written Test – JELET which will be conducted by the “West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board.
Admission	:	After Allotment of Seats in counselling, candidates will do the further formalities for admission in the college campus. Admission Kit, Checklist & Fees structure will be provided to them in our college campus / city office.

Post Graduate Course : M.Tech

Duration	:	Two Years
Eligibility	:	The candidate seeking admission to the 1st year Master Degree Course in our College should have completed B.Tech / M.Sc from relevant discipline. Students appeared for Final Semester Exams are also eligible to apply.
Procedure	:	Admission can be taken through PGET Entrance Test conducted by West Bengal University of Technology.
Admission	:	After securing merit score, selected candidates one will be issued the Admission kit, Checklist and Fees structure from the college campus for further admission procedures.

B.B.A. / B.C.A.

Duration	:	Three Years
Eligibility	:	The candidate seeking admission to the 1st year BCA/BBA Degree Course in our College should have passed 10 + 2 Examination from a recognized board. Candidates applying for admission in BCA should have Mathematics / Statistics / Business Mathematics / Computer Application at 10 + 2 level and candidates applying for admission should have English at 10 + 2 Level.
Procedure	:	Admission can be taken through appearing Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by West Bengal University of Technology.
Admission	:	After securing merit score, the selected candidate will be issued the Admission kit, Checklist and Fees structure from the college campus for further admission procedures.

M.C.A.

Duration	:	Three Years
Eligibility	:	The candidate seeking admission to the 1st year Master Degree Course in our College should have either passed or should appear in the Bachelor’s degree final examination in any discipline from any recognized university with Mathematics and / or Statistics as one of the Subjects in 10+2+3.
Procedure	:	Admission can be taken by appearing and qualifying in the Written Test – JECA which will be conducted by the “West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board.
Admission	:	After Allotment of Seats in counselling, candidates will do the further formalities for admission in the college campus. Admission Kit, Checklist & Fees structure will be provided to them in our college campus / city office.

Asansol Engineering College, a self financing institute established in the year 1998. It is situated at Asansol. It offers BTech and MCA in various disciplines. The college is accredited to All India Council for Technical Education and affiliated to West Bengal University of Technology.
