• Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.)
  
  The programme is divided in six semesters. An academic year shall be apportioned into two semesters. Each of the two semesters shall be of working duration of about 21 weeks as per the following breakup.
  
  • Imparting of teaching 17 Weeks
  • Preparatory leave 01 weeks
  • Semester end examination (including Practical) 03 weeks
  There shall be a break of 2 weeks after every odd semester and vacation of approximately 6 weeks after even semester.
• Bachelor of Computer Application (B.C.A.)

• Master of Computer Application (M.C.A.)
  
  MCA course offered by JIMS is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi. The programme is divided in six semesters. The first three semesters provide a strong foundation of basics and core concepts of Information Technology whereas the next two semesters lay emphasis on the web and networking concepts. The last semester of the curriculum is devoted to internship in leading IT organizations. The programme equips students with the skills and relevant competence to handle all practical problems faced in the industry.

  PGDM Programme is renowned for its extensive and in depth coverage of core and specialized courses, creating innovation and entrepreneurial qualities. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Bachelors of Business Administration (B.B.A.)

Pass in class of 10+2 of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and must have passed in English (core or elective or Functional) as a subject.

Bachelor of Computer Application (B.C.A.)

50% aggregate in 12th with English (core or elective or functional) and Mathematics or Computer Science/ informatics practice/Computer applications.
or

Three year diploma in a branch of engineering from polytechnic approved by All India Council for technical education and affiliated to a recognized examining body with a minimum of 50% aggregate.

Master of Computer Application (M.C.A.)

Bachelor degree from a recognized university in any discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate and must also have passed in Mathematics and English at least Senior School Certificate Examination (Class XII) of the CBSE or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto.

BCA/BIT/BIS from a recognized university of at least three years duration with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.

Operating round the clock, with a large number of desktops (As per the Norms), world-class server, Wi-Fi networked campus and a wide network with access to Internet and other facilities the campus facilitates an effective mode of learning. The network links the computing resources in the faculty offices, student labs and administrative units. Internet bandwidth of 6 Mbps is taken from Tata Communications, to provide internet facilities to the Institution.

JIMS computing infrastructure offers a truly heterogeneous range of hardware and software platforms for the student to appreciate and gain wide-ranging experience. The desktop environment is dominated by world class workstations.

Internet access to students is available round the clock through 6 Mbps leased line. Firewall is used at gateway which also does the bandwidth monitoring and spam control.

Digital Electronic Lab

Digital Electronic, one of the subjects in MCA programme equips the students with all the essential concepts underlying the working of a computer.

JIMS provides a fully functional Digital Electronic Laboratory to its students, complete with all the necessary and latest range of tools required to discern the true nature of the logical theory and hence make themselves adapt with the fundamentals.

Library

It is a pool of encyclopedia with well-stocked national and international magazines, periodicals, journals, and research papers in the hub that sustains, stimulates, generates, and rejuvenates the grey cells. JIMS Library has come a long way from being a traditional library with manual transactions to an e-library. The library has all the relevant information available at a click for the emerging global managers, who go through the grind to equip themselves with right skills and expertise to achieve world class standards in various functional areas of management and IT. As a matter of policy, the Institute pays special attention to not only strengthening the library with additional books and journals, but also to ensure that they are utilized well by the students both for their courses as well as to extend the frontiers of their general knowledge. Audio and multimedia versions of some course modules are also available.

Brainstorm Room

Learning is basically sharing, and group discussion helps to satisfy this need. The brainstorm room is a platform where the communication skills of the students are harnessed and developed.

This room serves the purpose of conducting discussions, whereby some members from the corporate interact with a small group of students on various live cases and business related issues.

Student can also use this room while working on various projects, presentations etc.

JIMS Girls Hostel

JIMS has started its hostel exclusively for girls. JIMS provides well-furnished hostel facility to its outstation candidates. The aim of our Hostel is to make it a Home away from Home. The Hostel has the ambience with the main focus on studies and to bring out latent qualities of the students by promoting cultural activities and interpersonal development.

It has spacious rooms with windows opening onto your own spacious balcony, gives you a feeling of luxury and comfort as soon as you walk in. State of the Art architectural design, cutting edge technology and luxuriant materials combine to form a wonderful new hostel.

Apart from the infrastructural soundness, the hostel provides sufficient scope for interaction and relationship-building. It is also a common sight to find study groups and project groups working away into the night in the hostel rooms. These interactions play a important role in a student’s life during placements and examinations.
