  Central Institute of Business Management Research and Development offers full time MBA program approved by AICTE with intake capacity of 90 students per year (45 in FIRST Shift and 45 in SECOND Shift).

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Appeared /Passed with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA(45% in case of candidate of backward class categories and person with disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) in nay bachelor degree awarded by any of the university incorporated by an act of central or state legislature in India or other educational institute established by an act of parliament or declared to be deemed as a university under section 3 of the UGC act 1956 of minimum 3 years duration in any discipline recognized by the association of Indian Universities or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India.

Appeared and secured positive non zero score in MAH-MBA/MMS-CET

OR

Appeared and secured positive non zero score in CAT(conducted by IIMS) / JMET (Conducted by IITS) / MAT (conducted by AIMA in February /XAT (conducted by XLRI)/ ATMA(conducted by AIMS) for the academic year.

Library and Reading Room

The institute boasts of large, well equipped library with comprehensive range of management books which are constantly added and updated. Various National and International journals and Magazines further added to the latest knowledge resource material with online databases, audiovisual educational material and research papers, enrich and make the library a rewarding experience for students and faculties.

J-Gate Social and Management Sciences.

J-Gate is an electronic gateway to global e-jourlan literature. Launched in 2001 by Informatics India Limited, J-Gate provides seamless access to millions of journal articles available online offered by 8,750 + Publishers. Presently it has a massive database of journal literature, indexed from 26,830+ e-journals with links to full text at publisher sites. J-Gate also plans to support online subscription to journals, electronic document delivery, archiving and other related services. It offers bibliographic information services to scholarly and technical electronic journal literature.

About Computer Lab

CIBMRD is having a well equipped computer lab with 88 terminals connected in lan with 24 hours internet facility with 2Mbps bandwith. The lab is open from 7.00am to 8.00pm for students.

There has secured wi-fi connection in college campus. The Linux server is used for DHCP & secured services. Currently there are two connections of Lease line 1 Mbps from TATA Communication and 1 Mbps from Aircel.

The ever increasing role of Information Technology in every facet of human endeavor especially in business is underlined at CIBMRD. It has an ultramodern, cutting edge computer lab with 24*7 high bandwidth connectivity and numerous networked high-end machines ensuring every student has free and unlimited access to knowledge.

Recreation

The importance of extra curricular activities is not lost on Institute. It encourages & provides special facilities for students to participate in various sports viz. Cricket, Table Tennis, Badminton etc organizing various tournaments and competitions in these sports.

Central Institute of Business Management Research & Development (CIBMRD) was established in 1994 as an offshoot of Vidya Shikshan Prasarak Mandal (VSPM) established in 1971. Shri. Ranjitbabu Deshmukh, Honorable Ex- minister for Agriculture and Textiles, today heads VSPM which has been able to establish around 64 academic institutions imparting various regular and professional courses. The flagship institute of VSPM is Lata Mangeshkar Hospital, Digdoh, Nagpur.
