• Masters of Business Administration (M.B.A.) - Two years Full Time Course

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Appeared / Passed with minimum 50% in graduation (any stream). The MBA program on practicing Business, Management and Leadership apart from learning these skills. The program also helps to build the professional skills in Business and Management that are required for today's corporate world. The program is designed to facilitate the development of operationally meaningful concepts and techniques in management. The objectives of the program are to produce assertive and effective Leaders / Managers for business and other organizations.

Admission Criteria:

Minimum qualification is Bachelor of Business Administration or equivalent. Admission is based on entrance exam held by the university.

Computer Lab

DAIMSR has always believe in use of information technology in day to day working for all stakeholders. The institute has a well equipped Computer lab with a 24 Hr. internet access through 20 MBPS WiFi facility. The lab is extensively used to provide an on-line training of IT in management which includes Oracle, JAVA, Visual Basic, C, Visual C, C++, SPSS, TALLY, Prowess & MS-Office.

Class Rooms

We have well equipped spacious air conditioned class rooms with LCD projectors, sound systems, light system and all teaching aid required, with seating capacity of 80 to 120 students.

Seminar Hall

We have a Seminar hall with seating capacity of over 120 students. The Air conditioners seminar hall is well equipped with LCD Projectors, sound system and with virtual classroom facility which is one of the best in the region. The seminar hall host all the major events of the institute including all A's.

Cafeteria

DAIMSR has a spacious cafeteria with seating capacity of over 100 students at a time with different zones for students and faculty members. The cafeteria provides fresh prepared refreshment items served in hygienic conditions.

Library

The DAIMSR library is housed in a building of 2,000 square feet carpet area with more than 100 seating capacity. It serves users on all working days of the year. It has a comprehensive collection of literature predominantly related to management and its allied subjects to meet the information needs of its users.

DAIMSR encourages the use of its library for professional purposes. Individuals and organizations can use the library regularly either on a deposit or non-deposit basis of payment.

The library has a total collection of 22,500 books. The library has access to e-resources (Del Net) and subscribes to 102 print journals, 26 e-journals and all the newspapers in English, Hindi & Marathi published from Nagpur. The non-book materials collection includes 95 CDs, 110 CDs/DVD’s received with books and 20 Audio Cassettes.

The Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Management Studies & Research was started in 1987 under the aegis of P. P. Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Smarak Samiti, Deekshabhoomi, Nagpur. Being one of the oldest Business Schools in Central India, the institutes attracts students from all the corners of the country. The mother institution has been NAAC accredited with A+ grade which is the only institution in central India to receive such rare distinction.

The institute has a state of the art infrastructure, which includes Wi-Fi Campus, Hi-tech auditorium, conference room, well-stocked library and Two Internet ready LANed computer labs, apart from basic amenities. This is backed highly qualified faculty pool, having vast experience in industry and teaching. Two-third of the faculty members are conferred with Doctoral Degree, and are continuing research in their respective specializations apart from guiding the research scholars from various Universities across India. On academic front, the Institute has made its presence felt at state and national level competitions and produced excellent results in the university every year since inception.
