NMIMS-NPAT 2022 (for NMIMS Programs after 12th) is the official entrance test for admissions to
Undergraduate Degree and Integrated Degree Programs.

PROGRAMS

    + Commerce [BBA | B.Sc. Finance | B.Com. (Hons.)]

    BBA Program
    The curriculum of BBA program is designed to provide industry with young managers for entry level positions for their first experience in a corporate role. The curriculum as currently envisaged, offers students a choice of specialization in marketing and/or finance roles in the 3rd year of their program. The BBA program has been tailor made to fill the need through a practical approach towards the syllabus, guided by the faculty from the industry itself, students are prepared for the real corporate world.
    B.Sc. Finance Program
    The B.Sc. Finance program aims at providing students with specialized knowledge in the field of finance. It provides a detailed understanding of international financial markets, investment analysis, financial risk management, corporate finance, portfolio management, and other aspects of finance domain. The course is benchmarked with best courses across the globe. A great career opportunity in the field of Banks, Financial Institutions, Insurance Companies, Credit Rating Agencies. Students also has opportunity to work as Investment Analyst and Portfolio Managers.
    B.Com. (Hons.) Program
    The B.Com. (Hons.) course emphasis to impart specialized skill sets in the areas of finance, accounting and taxation with a view to pursue careers in financial services. While there is enough diversity in the knowledge base for the B.Com. graduates to excel in any field of enterprise of their choice, the primary focus is for them to function as top notch executives in the financial services industry in different fields of operations. This provides a learning ambience that challenges the student’s mind through competitive education emphasizing on inculcating values, and transforming them into socially responsible managers and business leaders.

    + Economics [B.Sc. Economics]

    The B.Sc. Economics program is designed to challenge the mind, stimulate intellectual growth and make college life an exciting journey. The emphasis is on the overall development of the student, not only in academics but also in co-curricular activities. Students gain practical exposure and an opportunity to develop Analytical, Quantitative, Written and Oral communication skills that are valued by employers. It aids in inculcating values, to make the student a more responsible and socially aware citizen. The innovative B.Sc. Economics program is a three-year full-time program with Electives in Economics, Finance and Business Management.

This curriculum combines foundational modules on subjects of decision making, financial management, marketing, strategy, and economics, along with creativity in business, critical thinking, innovation, and entrepreneurship. The program presents a balanced combination of humanities and the world of commerce to the students interested in entrepreneurship, focusing on new business and communication ventures. As part of the experiential component of the qualification, students work in multidisciplinary teams engaging in real-world brand and advertisement challenges.

    + International Studies [BBA (International Business)]

    The NMIMS Centre for International Studies (CIS) is a pioneering institution in India offering International Degrees in collaboration with Kingston Business School, Kingston University London for BBA (Hons.) Business Administration program. The program helps in sharpening of skills and enhancement of knowledge base in our students through various extra- curricular, co-curricular and curricular activities through faculty who not only keep themselves at par with the current developments but also contribute to the expansion of the body of knowledge in their field of expertise.

    + Management [BBMM]

    BBMM
    The Bachelor in Business Administration & Marketing program takes students into the technological and psychological aspects of business and marketing. This pogram includes intensive applied business training skills that focus on digital marketing, marketing research and analytics, sales and distribution, channel management and neuro marketing with an emphasis on marketing management, as well as new and emerging media and marketing analytics. The program combines both theory and practice to enhance professional success after graduation. Employment opportunities will grow as companies search for new and innovative ways to market their products to consumers.

    + Registration Process

    • The Date and Test is as per the availability and therefore the candidate should schedule their examination as soon as he/she receives the communication.
    • RETAKE/S: Candidate can attempt maximum 2 RETAKES in any selected category i.e. (1st main test plus 2 retakes). The highest marks among the total attempts will be considered for respective school merit process. The candidate will be able to select the dates after 20 days from his / her main attempt.
    • Once the payment is done, candidate cannot add any more School/program preference of test.
    PROVISION OF PHYSICALLY CHALLENGED CANDIDATES:
    • The candidate must upload their Disability Certificate at the time of online registration.
    • This will be reviewed and appropriate assistance will be made available at the test center.
    • Post the review the candidate can make the payment and schedule the examination.

    + Online Registration Fees (for NMIMS-CET / NMIMS -NPAT / NMIMS-LAT)

    Registration Fees is NON-REFUNDABLE / NON-TRANSFERABLE.

    + Exam Test Centre

    + Eligibility

    Candidate must have passed 10 + 2 or equivalent examination from recognized board:
    • A candidate who has passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB Certificate or DP or CP awarded candidates with 24 credits compulsory and has passed 3 subjects at Higher Level (HL) and 3 subjects at Standard Level (SL) mandatorily from any stream.
    • Candidates of CBSE / ICSE, should mention in the online registration / e-admission form (if selected) for 10+2 or equivalent examination, the aggregate marks of all the subjects the candidate has taken / opted and appeared for (not best of four, five, six or seven). The candidate shall have passed all the subjects he / she has taken / opted and appeared in the applicable examination/s in a single attempt. The aggregate percentage of all subjects the candidate has taken / opted and appeared will be taken into consideration for confirming eligibility of the candidate for the program at the time of admission.
    • In case the mark sheet issued by the applicable Board / Institution is in percentile/s, the actual aggregate percentage of all the subjects appeared by the candidate will be taken into consideration.
    • Candidates above 25 years of age can apply for LLB programs only under NLAT Exam category. For all other programs the age criteria is Maximum 25 years of age.
    • Those candidates who have passed or are appearing (all subject/s taken / opted) for 10+2 examination from a Board / University where Grade Point Average is given, such candidates must produce in writing from the Board / University concerned, the equivalent percentage for the GPA / CGPA obtained.
    • IB & Cambridge Candidate: Candidates who do not have final mark sheet will be given “Provisional Admission” based on predicted scores. Fees will be accepted from such candidate but their admission will be confirmed on submission of final mark sheet before the commencement of the program, if found eligible. The candidate shall have to submit copy of AIU notification to confirm their eligibility for the program as equivalent to (10+2) examination/s. The mark sheet/s / transcript/s issued by Board / University shall only be considered (the mark sheet/s / transcript/s issued by the School / Institute will not be considered / accepted.)
    • International School/s candidates and those candidates who have completed their (10+2) or equivalent examination/s from overseas school/s / Institute/s / University will have to submit AIU certificate of equivalence (mandatory) to confirm their eligibility for the program as equivalent to (10+2) examination/s.
    • Only single mark sheet with all compulsory subjects passed is mandatory, no compartmentalized mark sheet will be considered.
    • Candidate whose final mark sheet is not available at the time of admission are required to submit internet copy of result duly attested by Principal of the school / college, failing which candidate will not be admitted to the course.
    • Candidate will not be eligible if any subject is marked as ungraded / fail in the mark sheet / grade sheet. For absent / ungraded in any of the additional / non mandatory subject will be consider as eligible provided such candidate is declared as passed by respective board.
    • Candidates appearing for their final 10+2 or equivalent examination can also apply provided they must obtain the required minimum eligibility criteria of the respective program and produce the entire necessary documents, in original, within the given stipulated time.
    • As per program eligibility the mandatory subject should be appeared and passed.

    + Selection Process

    • Merit list will be prepared based on the performance of the candidate in NMIMS-NPAT / NMIMS-CET / NMIMS-LAT exam.
    • The decision of the institute will be final in this regard and no inquiries or correspondence in this regard will be entertained
    Note:
    • Candidates are required to update 12th or equivalent exam or predicted marks after the admission process.
    • Candidate will not be considered for merit list if they fail to update the correct information in the online registration form.
    • It is the sole responsibility of the candidate to ensure that correct marks are entered.
    • At any given point of time, if it is found that the information given by candidate i.e 12th or equivalent exam is incorrect, the candidate admission will be cancelled and fees will be refunded as per prescribed refund rules.
    • For Engineering: Candidates will be called for Counselling as per their merit. In the counseling session, candidates will be given admission to various specialization as per their merit, choice and availability of specialization as per eligibility criteria.

    + Exam Structure

    NMIMS - NPAT EXAM STRUCTURE

    NMIMS-NPAT Exam will comprise of 3 major sections as follows, No Negative marks: Type of questions and difficulty level of Tests will be as per SAT Exam pattern.

    NMIMS-CET EXAM STRUCTURE
    (for Engineering & Pharmacy)
    Exam is based on Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics / Biology of 10+2 curriculum.

    Pharmacy admission test is based on PCM / PCB combination as selected at the time of online registration form.
