Eligibility
- Graduation (10+2+3) from a recognised University.
- CAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA/JEMAT/ any other state level entrance test appeared.
Selection
- Candidates with minimum 50% in Graduation (under 10+2+3 scheme) from a recognised University are exempted from the entrance test for admission.
- Admission to PGDM can be granted on the basis of CAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA/JEMAT/ any other state level test. Interested candidates with, below 50% in graduation, are required to appear in the test to be eligible for the interview. There will be no cut off score.
- Interested Candidates if not appeared in any mentioned test and with less than 50% in graduation, if desirous for admission in the same session are required to appear in the aptitude test to be conducted by AIMA / Study centers from time to time. They may be given provisional admission with an undertaking that they will appear in the Aptitude Test whenever finalised.

The Institute library has an excellent collection of books and journals. There are around 11000 books of 2640 titles.The library is subscribing to around 45 journals, both Indian and International. It also subscribes to e-journals. The library is fully air-conditioned with adjoining spacious well illuminated reading room with comfortable seating arrangement for 60 students.There is a separate reference section and a room for consultation. The library is an open access system and is kept open from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m(Monday to Saturday). The students can borrow books from the library.Photocopying facility is extended to all the students.
- » Computer Lab, IBM
The Computer facilities include 60 nodes with two Servers and is connected in a LAN with high speed Internet (upto 8 MBPS). Students can use the Library and Computer Laboratory from 2 p.m. to 9.00 p.m.

Spacious, well ventilated, AC class rooms with comfortable seating arrangements and projector facilities in all the rooms.
- » Auditorium
A large AC auditorium with modern facilities for 200 guests.

The Institute has a canteen for the students.
The Institute of Business Management (IBM),affiliated to Jadavpur University and approved by AICTE is a product of the century old National Council of Education, Bengal, born out of the freedom movement, and established on 11th March, 1905. Besides founding Jadavpur University in 1955 under an act passed in the State Assembly, National Council of Education, Bengal established an educational complex comprising of Jadavpur Vidyapith (1957), covering Nursery through Higher Secondary, Jadavpur Vidyapth College of Education (1969), offering B.Ed. degree under Jadavpur University, and the Institute of Business Management offering MBA of Jadavpur University (1984). IBM has been working with the industry and academia for developing new domains of managerial thought and education and contributing to building leaders in today's global business environment.
