Admission Procedure

Eligibility Criteria

• BCA - Any Student who has passed 10+2 with English / Functional English (in CBSE) and Mathematics / Statistics / Computer Application / Business mathematics / Business Economics including Mathematics / Modern Computer Application / Information Practice with Pass Marks.
• Any Student who has passed 10+2 examination with English / Functional English (in CBSE) is Eligible for Admission.
• BHSM - Any Student who has passed 10+2 examination with English / Functional English (in CBSE) is Eligible for Admission.

Selection Procedure

To maintain high academic standard, the Institute gives due importance to the quality of students enrolled. To ensure this, the selection of individual student will undergo the following procedure:

• Personal interview or
• Screening and selection of students based on merit

Admission in the first degree Programmes / Courses will be done on the following basis

• Admission for 70 % of the approved intake (from WBUT - Govt of West Bengal & UGC) in each of these courses will be reserved for the students of West Bengal (Passing from Schools in West Bengal from WBCHSE , CBSE, CISCE & WBSCVET Boards Only) on the basis of Merit / CET organized by Govt. of West Bengal.

  Merit List Preparation Procedure

  The marks obtained in 10+2 examinations will be considered and the following criteria will be used in sequence as required

  • Total of marks obtained in English / Functional English and Best three main Subjects.
  • Total marks Obtained in Best Three main subjects.
  • Total of marks Obtained in Best Two main Subjects.
  • Marks Obtained in the best main Subject.
  • Alphabetical order of the candidate’s Name.
