Admission Procedure

As per Government norms, in all the B. Tech courses, students are admitted from amongst the rank holders in the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination and in the AIEEE through counseling conducted by the Central Selection Committee.

Provision is also there for admission of Diploma holders. JELET qualified candidates can enter at the 3rd semester stage through the same process.

In the MCA course, students are admitted from amongst the rank holders in the WBJECA following the same procedure. For admission into the M. Tech course, candidates may visit www.wbut.ac.in

MCKV Institute of Engineering was established in the year 1999 as the first self financing degree level engineering college in Howrah District, approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated to West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT). The continuous upgradation of facilities at MCKVIE, coupled with highly qualified and experienced faculty, has brought the institute to the forefront in the educational scenario in the State of West Bengal.
