Library & Inforamation Services
Library of this institute subscribes for the e-library of Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik. There are 9437 books available in the library and it subscribes 63 journals in various subjects, out of whch 16 are Foreign journals. It has reprography unit, Computer laboratory with 10 terminals, internet broad band connectivity and Medlars. There are educational CDs and electronic books available in air conditioned reading rooms.
Laboratories
The laboratories offer round the clock services to all the needy patients. These are well equipped and all the necessary investigations are being carried out at these laboratories.
Lecture Hall
There are well ventilated 4 lecture theatres at the college campus and 2 lecture theatres at the hospital campus. These halls are well equipped with audio-visual aids. There is one lecture hall of 250 capacity and one examination hall of 150 capacity available at the college.
Examination Hall
The college has ample number of spacious examination halls to conduct the University examinations.
Hostel
Separate hostels are available for men and women students. A hygienic Mess facility is available round the clock.
Cafeteria
The cafeteria / restaurant caters north and south Indian food and beverages to the students community and the faculty.
Gymnasium
The college offers well equipped gymnasium is available in the campus. Courts for cricket, badminton are also available.
Co-curricular
The Departments of Sports in the college is one of the dynamic departments that nurture the sportive spirit in the students. The department has conducted various sports competitions like track and field events as well as indoor games. Every year annual sports events are organized and all the students and college staff are encouraged to participate in the events.
The sports department also conducts regular courses in the morning and evening hours in the gymnasium for the students and staff alike.
Extra-curricular
The college motivates the student community to participate in extra-curricular activities through frequent cultural, arts and literary events. The extra-curricular activities foster the all-round development of the students.
Transport
There are 2 minibuses and two ambulances available for the transport of students and faculty to these centres.
Shri Bhausaheb Hire Government Medical College & Hospital was established in the year 1989 at Dhule, a tribal district in the North Maharashtra. It is one of the premier Institutes of Khandesh region. The health care services are being offered to not only to the tribal population living in the Khandesh region (Dhule, Nandurbar, Jalgaon and Nashik districts) but also to districts of Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat.
Medical Council of India granted permission in the year 1996 college got affiliated to the Pune University, Pune. Later on to North Maharashtra University, Jalgoan. Presently, College is affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Science, Nashik. The campus of this Institute expands upto 175 acres of land situated near the crossing over of National Highway of Surat and Mumbai to Agra. Every year 50 undergraduate students are being admitted for the MBBS course and 32 students for the College of Physicians diploma courses. This institute is having residential accommodation for 300 students.
