Admission Procedure

• »  RATE invites admission in one year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) course and the metod subjects available are BENGALI, HINDI, ENGLISH, SANSKRIT, POLITICAL SCIENCE, HISTORY.
• »  Approved intake for B.Ed is 100 every year in which almost 90% seats are to be filled up through central counseling arranged by Burdwan University. Remaining seats will be filled up through management quota.
• »  Eligibility: Candidates (both Fresh & Deputed) with at least 50% marks either in Bachelor's Degree and / or in Master's Degree are eligible for admission. Relaxation will be 5% marks in favour of SC, ST and PWD.
  NB: 50% or 45% marks (as the case may be), in Bachelor's Degree with Hons, may be determined either on the basis of Hons marks only or on the basis of Hons marks & marks of the Elective subjects taken together.
• »  Admission forms for B.Ed are available at RATE campus and every year the tentative date of disbution of forms is at month of April.

Facilities Offered

“RAJENDRA ACADEMY FOR TEACHERS' EDUCATION” a self financed Teacher’s Training College under the aegis of “Rajendranath Education and Welfare Trust”, established in the year 2009. The College is located at Gopalpur, Durgapur-12. The campus is located on lush green land of over 5500 sq. meters within 20 acres of Trust land. The objective of RATE is to provide the facility of quality Teacher’s Training Education from Bachelor’s and Diploma level to Master’s level and presently for last four years RATE offers one year course of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed). We are very proud to share that in these five years RATE has proved her name as an Institution of Excellent Education with an average of 97% of first division per year amongst many teacher’s training Colleges under Burdwan University.
