Selection:

Admission to the two year MBA Agribusiness Management will be conducted on the basis of KAUMAT 2014 score (60 per cent weightage), group discussion and personal interviews (25 per cent) weightage and qualifying degree merits (15 per cent weightage). Only candidates clearing KAUMAT 2014 as per the cut off scores, will be called for the group discussion/personal interview.

The Kerala Agricultural University Management Aptitude Test (KAUMAT) 2014 consisted of 120 objective type multiple choice questions for a total of 120 marks to be completed in two hours. No negative marking was applicable. The test included the following sections: Part A - English Comprehension and Verbal Ability (40 Marks), Part B - Mathematical Aptitude (40 Marks) and Part C -Test of Reasoning (40 Marks).


Kerala Agricultural University (KAU) has declared the results of the KAUMAT (Kerala Agricultural University Management Aptitude Test) 2014 entrance test which was held on May 4, 2014. A total of 193 candidates had applied for KAUMAT 2014 and 164 candidates appeared for the exam. The candidate securing first rank has scored 87 marks with an aggregate percentage of 72.50 per cent. The cut off marks have been decided as 40 per cent for General Category and 35 per cent for Reserved Category (SC/ST). Aspirants can view their results according to rank and according to roll number on the official website.

The KAU MBA course offers dual specializations with Finance, Marketing and Human Resource Management in addition to Agribusiness Management. A total of 40 seats are available for the course. To be eligible for the MBA Agribusiness Management course, the candidate should have completed Graduation from a recognized University / Institute in any stream with minimum 60 per cent marks, and should have a valid KAUMAT score.
