General Instructions to fill up the Application Form 2016-2017
Bachelor of Fishery Science (B.F.Sc.)
- The candidates must have passed in the Higher Secondary Examination or its equivalent examinations in Sciences.
- The candidates must have passed in the Higher Secondary Examination or its equivalent examinations in Sciences.
- The SC/ST candidates must secure 40% marks instead of 50% marks altogether in Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English in H.S. or equivalent examinations.
Note :
- Candidates of other Board/council (10+2) level passed from institutions in West Bengal will be considered provided that he/she is a domicile in West Bengal.
- The Candidate should attain 17 years of age as on 1st July in the year of application.
- Only medically fit candidates declared by the University Medical Officer or a Medical Board constituted for the purpose will be considered for admission.
- candidate shall be required the produce in original the mark sheets of all the examinations passed together with the admit card as proof of his/her age at the time of admission for verification.
- Candidates selected for admission shall be required to deposit the fees etc. at the time of admission in Demand draft. The right of admission of a candidate will summarily be rejected if a candidate fails to show his/her original documents and /or pay the requisite fees for the purpose at the schedule time of admission.
- The admission criteria for Person with Disability (PwD) candidate will be based on his/ her marks in the qualifying examinations as well as degree of disability which will not cause any inconvenience to the candidate to pursue his/her studies in particular course. In this regard, the decision of the Admission Committee and University Medical Officer or a Medical Board Constituted for the purpose will be final.
- The admission criteria other than PwD candidates are strictly based on his/her performance in the qualifying examinations.
