RESERVATION OF SEATS (TOTAL NO. OF SEATS:26) :

• 22% for SC and 6% for ST*
• Physically Challenged: 3% of the total number of seats**
• 5% for OBCA Category (except creamy layer)***

*As per Government rule Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe and other Backward Class candidates in her domicile state are entitled to get the reservation facility. SC/ST certificate issued by the competent authority of Government of West Bengal are only accepted.

A Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe student getting admission should obtain marks in the previous qualifying examination in the relevant Honours subject not lower than 25% than that obtained by the last candidate admitted from the General Category.

**Physically Challenged Candidates having disability 40% and above are entitled to get reservation facility. Physically Challenged candidates must attach a certificate from the competent authority. The PWD candidates claiming seats under reserved category are required to produce appropriate PWD certificates issued by the competent authority.
